Colombia has four native species of the genus Vaccinium, but this is not one of them. It is called Arándano in Colombia, which is also the name for cranberry. Sometimes cranberry is distinguish with the name Arándano rojo. There is very little production of blueberries in Colombia and it is relatively expensive in Colombia.
