Colombia has three native species of the genus Malvaviscus in Colombia, but this is not one of them. A shrub cultivated between 1,000 and 9,000 feet in Colombia. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia (Cordillera Oriental) and in Piojo.
