Chrysophyllum cainito (Star Apple)

Colombia has sixteen species of genus Chrysophyllum, but this is not one of them. Culitvated below 5,000 feet. It is called caimito in Colombia and only the white pulp is eaten which taste a little like grape. It is sold in local markets close to where the fruit is cultivated. Photographed in Barranquilla.
