Vitis vinifera (Grape)

A vine cultivated between 1,500 and 7,000 feet. This is the primary commercially produce grape in Colombia. It is called Uva Isabella in Colombia and is not considered to be a high quality grape. It is primarily used for juice. Most grapes and wines are imported to Colombia from Chile. Most Colombian grapes are cultivated in the Valley of Cauca. Photographed in the Valley of Cauca.
