Abutilon (Flowering Maple) and Callianthe picta

Common in and around Bogotá but does not survive in the hot north coast of Colombia. The high evening temperatures (lows in the mid 70´s) are the reason why many subtropical and tropical plants cannot grow or flower in the tropical zone below 500 feet in elevation. At least one photo represented is Callianthe picta. The tenth flower, color orange. A few other resembling the is design are likely Callianthe picta also
